Traveling in Baja California Slideshow Presented at Nevada County Library

I want to share some of the resources that were helpful to me when preparing the"Traveling in Baja California" slideshow October 30, 2017 at the Nevada County library.  The slideshow is too big to post on this blog, but it is available on Google Photos at this Google Photos site: Traveling in Baja California

As promised at the slideshow here are links to resources I have used to plan for my trips to Mexico and Baja California:

Websites to shop for Auto/RV Insurance

Note: if you plan to be in Mexico for more than a few weeks, compare the cost of a six month policy to your exact trip length, it may be much cheaper.

Sanborns: Buy Mexican Insurance on-line, website also contains useful information on a variety of Mexican travel topics.

Vagabundos del Mar is one of the oldest Baja Travel clubs.  Besides being a good source for insurance, they organize caravans of RVers and Boaters, have lots of good information about Baja on their site.

Comparison shop for insurance, get 6 quotes at once:

Another way to see Baja, join a guided Caravan tour.  Pricey, but the Caravan sponsor does all the work.  Here is one source.
